you came online again after months of disappearance and the first thing you do is to destroy an existent ally while and because some followers and bobs think you play good because of your wannabe alpha attitude and uthgard history.. on the 4 years i played on uth i only saw you sucking vs ruin, anguish and other guilds
the attitude of your leaders is really the cancer of hiberina, or what do you think where you are going with your 8v8 shit when 78 albs take the relics like today..
i tell you where you go you log out like last time when they took it with "only" 47 announced it 2h before it happend in lfg the only thing what came from you where stupid jokes
your playtime sux and your leaders are spineless, crawling, backstabbing creatures on a strange ego trip, everyone involved knows the rest of the story
Zitat von MJeans It's been a lot years since I played live on my old Luri ranger on Ingraine server, but I was hitting players for around 1000 damage using a 4.4 speed MP bow. I would expect to do that here as well.
ZitatIf it helps - if bow damage is this impressive, it might be one of the few realities in an mmorpg game. If you are vaguely aware of historic battles, the English longbow, for example was devastating. |
"Gerald of Wales commented on the power of the Welsh longbow in the 12th century:
... [I]n the war against the Welsh, one of the men of arms was struck by an arrow shot at him by a Welshman. It went right through his thigh, high up, where it was protected inside and outside the leg by his iron cuirasses, and then through the skirt of his leather tunic; next it penetrated that part of the saddle which is called the alva or seat; and finally it lodged in his horse, driving so deep that it killed the animal..."
Granted, regardless of sick bow damage on live and apparently here, you won't find many groups with multiple archers if even one. Henry V won the battle of Agincourt with 7,000 English longbowmen, and only 1,200-1,500 melee respectively. With the longbow being the standard in his force, thousands of heavily armored (full plate) French Knights were annihilated.
In live Daoc I well recall seeing nearly full groups of archers with a speed class towing them, so they could destroy zerg respawn players. Seeing 6 rangers, 1 druid, and 1 bard, with focus fire of 6 archers on each target...well, that's old school talent there and luckily for most nowadays, you won't see this kind of coordination. refmikemid
